
Kindergarten students meet Norm!


Students at SENSE Charter School interact with Norm from the Chicago Field Museum.


Excited to recognize the VIP Students in Mrs. Dillard & Miss Osthimer’s class during the last six weeks of school. Each day we will pop a balloon with one student’s name inside and celebrate that student the entire day! 🏆🎉🎈

We're excited to have a full-size replica of a T-Rex head. courtesy of the Chicago Field Museum, make its appearance at SENSE late Wednesday April 18th to the morning of Monday April 30th.
Teachers will be using this wonderful exhibit to enhance their curriculum in art, science, and language arts.


Wednesday APRIL 18 – Family Story Gathering
5:30-7:00 pm
Families of students in grades 5-8 are invited to SENSE for dinner and to share their stories from the neighborhood.
These stories will inform a working class themed mural project in cooperation with Indy that will start in September 2018.

The SENSE Charter School Food Pantry will be open Tomorrow, Thursday April 12th. We will be open 8:30 to 10:00 am and then again 3:30 to 4:30 pm. The pantry is only open to the families of SENSE. Please enter the double door off of the back alley. We encourage you to bring your own shopping bags. You will receive more points.


Since 1994, millions of dollars have been raised in pennies and other spare change by more than 10 million elementary, middle and high school students throughout the country.
The funds, collected during this period, benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Everyone who participates is a winner!
Students across the country are collecting pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters during the Pennies for Patients campaigns benefiting the Society.
The campaign at SENSE will run April 23rd to April 27th. More information will be sent home with your student!
